* WHO CAN/SHOULD RIDE HERE *
Comlara is a good trail system for all skill levels (Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert).
BEGINNER
Start with trails 4, 5, and 6. These do not have any massive hills to climb. Do 6 in both directions for extra practice and additional mileage.
INTERMEDIATE
Add Coharie Pass and trail 7 loop.
INTERMEDIATE +
Add trails 3, 2, and 1.
EXPERT
Add the Lakeside trail and Hillside trail.
COMLARA KEY POINTS
  • VAULT TOILET IN PARKING LOT
  • LARGE PARKING LOT. EZ TO FIND
  • TRAILS ARE WELL MARKED FOR THE MOST PART
  • THE SURROUNDING DOUBLE TRACK SECTIONS ARE GENERALLY AN EASIER OPTION IF YOUR LEGS ARE HEAVY AND NEED TO BAIL OFF THE SINGLE TRACK.
  • THE CORBA GROUP DOES A NOLB (NO ONE LEFT BEHIND) GROUP RIDE ON MONDAYS AT 6PM. CHECK THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE FOR INFO.
