* WHO CAN/SHOULD RIDE HERE *
Farmdale is a root filled, technical and challenging system. IMO it is for Intermediate skilled & above riders,
however a strong Beginner rider who is ready for a challenge could definitely have some fun here.
If you are a true Beginner, I highly recommend taking advantage of Kinsey to get some miles and experience under your belt. Check out the provided Kinsey review.
BEGINNER
Cruise around on the Cinder and Fire Roads to get a feel for the park layout.
BEGINNER +
From the parking lot, hop on the Campground Trail and then hit the Alt Creekside Trail into the Trackstand Trail. Ride Cinder Road back to the parking lot.
INTERMEDIATE (A)
Do the Beginner + route, but also add in the TNT Trail. If you're up for it, do TNT, Trackstand, Alt Creekside and Campground Trail in reverse order back to the parking lot.

  • I will be adding more routes like this one. Check back often.
  • These routes and reviews are only my opinion. Be aware of your own abilities. Bail out or hike a bike as needed.
  • Always wear a helmet and be safe.
INTERMEDIATE (B)
Same as Intermediate A, but add in the Spillway Trail and then the Playground Loop as well.
INTERMEDIATE (C)
From the parking lot, take the Cinder Road to the Lower Fire Road and ride it all the way to the Back Trail. Time to test out Blue Chevy, Rosewood and Devils Cliff. Toss in the Playground Loop if you want. Stay off Knock Knock for now!
INTERMEDIATE +
Leave from the other end of the parking lot using the Lower Dam Trail to the Farmdale Dam Road. Watch your trail signs, but take your second right on to Mike n Dons and ride it all the way to the Whistler & Schrolls intersection. Go left and ride Schrolls counter clockwise. Cross the Fire Road and ride Mike n Dons again to the Cheez Trail (not on Cheez for long) before hoping over to Roy-L into Eagle Ridge. If you're up for it, do Schrolls again but this time clockwise.
EXPERT
Time to hit 'em all and add in Knock Knock as well. If you hit everything at least once, you should end up around 13-15 miles depending on your route.
